Hyatt House Sacramento / Midtown

We enjoyed our stay. We brought 2 small dogs. Vallet was kind and fast. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious. And love love check out time. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at Hyatt House Sacramento. It is in a great location to walk and wander around. The restaurant and bar are on point. I recommend reservations. It is worth the stay to dine and drink then just drift off to your room. The decor is decadent and the staff were great at making sure we had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!

I love midtown. Good food options nearby. The hotel has an elegant lobby, and seems to be a popular bar/restaurant. Restaurant doubles as the space for the included breakfast. The breakfast food itself is a slight step above basic, displayed nicely and scrambled eggs that tasted freshly made. Oatmeal was ruined by melting big chunks of butter on top. Why? Steel cut oats are traditionally a healthy whole grain item.... The actual room has tons of space, a comfortable bed. It's nice to have the little kitchen with microwave, and eat my takeout off a real plate. Friendly staff downstairs. Clean everywhere except a few mystery long black hairs in the shower. Neutral not overpowering bath products were a plus. Will definitely stay again.

This location is in Midtown, which is like the trendy part of Sacramento. It's also got some historical elements, like this Hyatt House, which used to be the 1928 Eastern Star Hall. This building is pretty! There are 8 stories. The rooms are apartment-like and some are suites. My 1-king bedroom on the fourth floor had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and comfy couch. The bed was soo comfortable. The blankets were warm. This room faced 28th Street. My issue with this hotel was that the guy at check in barely said anything to us. He didn't explain breakfast hours, where the elevators were, or welcome us as status-holders. This was the first time in a while I've had such an experience at a Hyatt property. Parking: valet only, $40. I found an uncovered parking lot on 28th that was $10 for overnight. The valet attendant is directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast: M-F 6:30A-9A, S-S 7A-10A on 3rd floor. Offered typical hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, and hot coffee. They also had oatmeal and some fruits. The Star Lounge is pretty to visit with the blue velvet chairs and candles. Fitness center: 24 hours, on basement floor Laundry: 24 hours, on basement floor No pool. Free wifi

This hotel is very nice. The rooms have been remodeled and they come with a kitchens. Super clean and fresh fragrance throughout the building. RESTAURANT is pricey and you have to pay for parking. There are lovely views from the higher floors. Quite and staff are friendly and helpful.

I had a business dinner there recently in the library room. It exceeded our expectations. The food was exquisite and all the staff were kind and caring. It was a very welcoming and beautiful space decorated tastefully for the holidays. Valet parking was available directly in front.

I stayed at this hotel overnight for a business dinner and encountered an issue in my room. The front desk promptly sent someone from the engineering team, and he was outstanding. He arrived quickly, was very kind and pleasant, and resolved the issue efficiently with no disturbances at all. I truly appreciated his professionalism and how smoothly everything was handled. The building restoration is well done, great location, the lounge is nice and the breakfast is acceptable and in a nice setting. But I must say, the room has one small window, which is also fine, except that it is filthy. Really? Seems like they could use window washer on a schedule.
